I’m extremely worried about my Axolotl. I got two adult axolotls last year and a few days ago I got a baby Axolotl. He/she eats frozen plankton and loves them. But today I noticed that he has odd lumps on his stomach. I’ve never experienced this before so I have no ideas of what could be wrong.

He also is on half really fine sand and half bare bottom tank. Someone please help I really have began to get attached and I don’t want to lose him/her.

How big is the new axolotl? You don't want them on sand until they are at least 5 inches otherwise the sand can cause impaction. Attach a photo if you can. Sometimes my axolotls get a lumpy belly after eating but it goes away.
