This is what I came home to!

This is one of those stories that would be difficult to believe without photographic evidence, sort of like the dog ate my homework. I suppose that this adds a new dimension when the need for a secure enclosure is stressed! A local friend who was once breeding lots of tortoises and keeping the outside during the warmer months would tell me about having raccoon issues however you certainly have that topped. Again sorry for your losses.

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone. On a lighter note I wonder if this could be included in the species mixing diasters section, LOL.
 
I´ll add this one when warning new hobbyists about the importance of fit lids..."secure well your tank or a possum might open your tank and eat your newts".
