Hello so I have 3 tiger salamanders and I have been feeding them crickets, I have read in hear that, that's not the best thing for them and can cause none deficiencies, so I tried earth worms and they went having any of it (they may have been to big for the salamanders) hey tried to eat them but ended up spitting them back out so I chopped them in to bits and still no look they just went having them at all I think one ate the smallest but but I could tell they didn't like it. I have also tried not feeling them for a few days then tried the chopped up earth worms but still no look. I was just wondering if there is anything else I can try (I do dust my crickets once a week as advised by the pet store). I have heard of vita bugs but I'm not sure if there are any in the UK I couldn't find any anyway, thanks for reading any help is appreciated ?

Either gut load/calcium dust the crickets or get feeder roaches

My tigers won't take dendrobaena worms, only lumbricus (lobworms).

I wonder if you are offering them Eisenia worms rather than Dendrobaena ? The Eisenia can produce a secretion that some animals will find unpleasant . Mine mainly eat earthworms .

I do gut load and calcium dust already but I was just looking for other ways to feed them. Bellabelloo is correct there i have just read the box and they are eisenia worms I shall try and get dendrobarna worms I didn't know there was a difference lol

No, not mealworms or superworms, they are hard to digest, as are beetles

I already feed them mealworms
