Nick, depending on his size, whole crawlers are no problem. I feed my tigers whole worms. Also, I sometimes just throw 4 or 5 in their tank. Worms are good for turning over the soil, and they can hunt for their own worms.

Mine are both between 7 and 10 inches, and I feed them a whole crawler twice a week.

k i'll leave 5 worms in my tank. how long will they last in there? will they survive? should i leave some type of food in there and what? how long will the worms last in their cup that i bought them in?

My earthworms are kept in their cup in the regrigerator. They last me about a week (until I run out) and have never had any dead ones.

thanks. but should i keep digging him out and feed him? or should i just leave a couple in his tank for him to hunt? and if so what should i feed these crawlers? thanks
