Tiger salamander shedding

I took my tiger salamander outside today so he can get some fresh air, and I noticed something very awkward about his skin. Someone was telling me that they shed, so when he started walking around the skin started moving when he was walking. Then it dawned on me that he was shedding. It was the most amazing sight that I ever saw. Here is a picture of it (not the greatest but it will do).

It's a pretty wicked sight the first time you see them shedding. The first time I saw my tiger shedding it looked like he was a sausage coming out of a wrap. Quite weird but fascinating.

When mine shed i thought something was wrong with him because he kept doing this twitching motion next thing i knew he was eating the skin.
