My brother inlaw found a tiger salamander in a water meter he gave it to my wife but we have no idea on how to really take care of it can someone help us.

The cage can be pretty simple - some kind of dirt without fertilizers and a shallow water dish, maybe a hide.
And I feed mine worms / cricket
They are very rewarding pets and pretty easy to care for
