Hello, does anyone know a safe place to get a tiger salamander, ive seen they were on underground reptiles but ive heard bad reviews about them.

I've seen them for sale on this site occasionally. They're just more difficult to breed in captivity than some of the other species that end up on here more often. You could also check out morph market but there's a lot of listings on there so with that comes a higher risk of scams. I have a few juveniles that I'm trying to sell locally but I have shipped animals in the past so if you're interested send me a message or email.

Personally I think it would be better to collect one yourself than purchase from places like underground reptiles where they have been captured and then stored in questionable conditions and potentially exposed to harmful pathorgens from around the world. I personally would rather collect larva than adults. Most larval salamanders will never make it to adulthood. Make sure it's legal where you are and do not collect more than you need.
