Tiny red dots on golden's face

My golden axolotl has had tiny orange-ish red dots on his face for a long time (maybe forever). I think they do get more red when he's been active and kind of fade to a bit more orange when he's not. They're only present on his face face, not the rest of his body.

I don't know if this is some kind of natural coloration or if it's related to some kind of sickness. Water parameters always seem to be good and my searches online have never revealed anything conclusive, so I thought I'd ask y'all.

Hi Murry,
It’s likely just a bit of wild type in his dna that’s causing the spots. If your parameters are fine and he’s not showing any other symtoms, itchiness, refusing to eat, constipation, etc. then I wouldn’t worry about it. Wild typing is very dominant (it’s the only natural typing after all) so it’s fairly common for it to come through a bit in the other types. Hope this helped.
