Hi all,
im new this site, and i hate to introduce myself with a problem but i fed one of my axies a bit a beef heart which was a bit to big, and after struggling with it to my surprise he actually got it down.... But since swallowing it he hasn't moved, except to hide under a rock where he has been for a couple of hours, (which for him is really not normal for this time of day).
It was the first time i have ever fed my axies heart, and he has a lump on his stomach where the food is, so im sure it wasn't stuck in his throat or anything.. but im so stressed... i just thought if it was to big of a piece he just wouldn't swallow it.
Is there anything i can do? I softly touched his tail to see if he would run away and there was no response. I'm hoping it is normal because he is just digesting such a large piece of heart. What do you guys think?
