Well it's about that time to move back to college...and I'm bringing my axie with me! So I have this half gallon tank that I could use (best idea yet) but it is a two and a half hour drive (not including the time I need to get him inside). Is there anything special I need to do for this transport.

If it's hot, think about putting him in a cooler.
The more water you have, the less sloshing there will be.
Get a big tupperware dish, fill it full, put the lid on. Take it off every hour or so, and check for poop. Change the water as needed. A 2 hour ride isn't anything to be concerned over. I've driven mine as far as 11 hours before with no ill effects.
