Triturus dobrogicus- Developing larvae

Excellent photos of those larvae Terry! Quite a jump I might add. Before you know it they'll be morphing for you.
 
Since the site was hacked, most of the updates and speculations were lost so I'm merely reposting photos of the recent developments of the newt larvae.

Both are speculatively male and female.
 
great pics terry. i can see a definite difference between those and my karelinii larvae. the danubes appear much longer bodied with smaller heads and limbs
