Mark - I remember you saying that the males of this species has a broken line down its back that you can see before the crests developes and that females have a solid line. Do you have any pictures that show this? Im trying to sex(by judging from the line) how many have a straight or broken line out of my group of T. marm's.

Hey Mark, I don't know anything at all about this species, but could you try the old trick that we all use for c.o's?

Make a semi-aquatic setup in which the land area stays wet on top so the skin can't get dry... thus encouraging aquatic-ness?

Has he been kept cool during winter? I mean around 5°C...
 
Hi Francesco - no they haven't had a proper cool period which might explain their lack of interest in the water. Maybe next year eh?

yeah next winter keep them 2-3 months at 5°C like I did and when you bring them out they'll be much more friskier!

Mark - Thanks for that picture! From the looks of it, I only have one male in my group. Looks like extra feedings and TLC to make sure he can live long enough to reproduce!
