Are you interested in terrestrial housing, or aquatic? Juveniles or adults? I have many animals housed in plastic tubs. I can probably give you links to photos I've posted in the past.

I am relly looking to most things at the moment, fire salamanders are one, but maybe some mabled newts as well, and i hope to breed these so the young set-ups as well and maybe some fire bellied newts, so most things please Im planning a rack to see what specie i cn have in there

In general, almost anything can be kept in tubs. The only limitations are that you can't use a heater, and certain kinds of filters won't fit. The big disadvantage is that you cannot SEE the animals or their environment as clearly as you can with a glass tank.

Ok thanks, i take it heatmat's on a stat will work ???

And what filters work ???

Heatmats with a good tstat would be ok. I would recommend two tstats in series so that if one fails closed you still have positive control.

I've used airstones and small air-driven "box" filters in tubs. Sponge filters would work if the water is deep enough. I think that a small submersible filter would work well too, although they tend to heat the water somewhat and create a current (good or bad features, depending on the species).

By the way, I know of a pet store that was nearly burned to the ground (with death of almost every animal in the store) because of a mal-functioning heat mat, so John's suggestion of an extra t'stat is a good one.

Ok thank you people

If you can get some more pics that would be great thanks
