On the first pic is a former swamp which was transformed into a fish pond. Years ago it was a swamp in a perfect condition with nice populations of several species of amhibians living in. . Now the bottom and littoral vegetation is dredged out and it was seen nothing except a rich fish stock in the water.
The other pics show a swamp which was intensively exploited by cattle in the past. Now a higher part is reserved for wild life. The back slope is highly eroded by poaching but a slow current which is passing through the swamp minimizes the water pollution.
