That's an interesting question. I think the prices on Kingsnake.com are reasonable. It sms like the guy has them in hand. Yesterday i had my thumb operrad on and pinned. The nurse told me not to make any decisions within 24 hour of having the anestesia or while under the in fluence of narcotics. I didn't take her advice and orderred a trio of each type. I'm not 100% positive what I orderred but will figure it out after i get them. i think i orderred a trio of T. kweichowensis and a trio of T. shanging
I should have about a month to play with them before i have to go back to my real job.

I got mine today. They shipped twice what I orderred. I got 3.3 of each. How did Paris know that from looking at Daves' pictures? They came in nice so I guess I have to keep them.

Yea. I got the extras at their cost. All look good. The kweichionses look a little skinny but no scrapes or rubs. Underground Reptiles seem like good guys. They are a little disorganized but i got great stuff at fair prices quickly. Everything was packed properrly (except they can't count). It's a relief after all of the drama from Brits' amphibians.

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
