Hi everybody,

i haven't been posting here for a long time, just been watching you all, and enjoying the discussions.
just thought i,d share some of my photo,s of my morphing verrucosus.
any other people out there who havejuvs this year? would like to see some other photo,s for comparison, especially if the larvae look the same , cause probably there must be some difference since the (last talked about) collection localities are very different,

Hey Tim,
I usually use seasoning on all of my newts (some like it hot) and my Pyrrhogasters have Red Hot Chili Bellies. It's not pepper in this case though, my animals actually have freckles

Thank you for the link, provided delightful reading. Unfortunately no detailed info or pics on the habitat. I like the newt in the dried-out mud though. Gives you an idea of a temporarily available spawning habitat.
Let's just hope they don't reduce conservation of this newt to the establishment of a hatchery. Hasn't helped with other organisms either. On the other hand, John's "Big Mama" could probably deliver enough offspring for the stocking of Nepal all by herself hehehe.

Well it's not as orange as some I've seen. The pure orange variety is the colour of the orange fruit and very impressive to see. I don't think anyone else has seen them apart from me and a friend here in the UK. A photo of mine was published in the Dutch Salamander Booklet last year.

i would like somke for a different bloodline, i,ve got 2 nearly adults wich i would like to trade or something, perhaps for your group ralf???for a different bloodline just to be sure????
