I've had this little guy a while and his gills have always looked like this but I just thought I'd ask about it and see if anyone knows why this is.
He does go for air more than the others but he does like to float(honestly) and swim so I don't know if that's the reason. He is also more prone to fungal diseases, again wondering is it something to do with the underdevelopment. It's also only his middle gill on both sides. Other than that he is healthy, outgoing, eats very well, loves attention etc.
Tried to focus on the gill rather than his head
Any suggestions?
