Axolotl sucked by filter. Would you fridge???

Was there nothing over the intake?

I would keep tubbed until you know which way this is going to go.

keeping colder like 10 degrees wouldn't hurt but the fridge will be too much I think.

You can try IAL or IAL extract and possibly meth blue to help prevent infection
 
I put it in the fridge for a few hours at 9 Celsius. Now back to the tank.

He has less inflammation, but still red colour. By the way he is not eating... I hope it's ok

24 hours later is getting better, but it seems very stiff always with the chin up... Not eating

    Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

    Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
