Hi,
my female yesterday mated n today laying?? I moved the female to another container cos she was laying on the filter. I picked up 16 eggs on the filter this morning n some seems damage already thus those eggs I put it in another seperate container.

Need help:
1) When will she lay finish??
2) Just leave the eggs in the container??
3) The eggs r jelly coated n inside is black n white. Is it normal??
3) Anything I should do??

Pixs attached.

Thanks

1 She should be finished within 48 hrs. If not prepare to move to another non-newt-infested location

.
2 If you want to raise any, provide some plants or plastic strips for her to lay on and move the eggs to a different container as she might prey on them.
3 that's normal
3 (4) as I said in 2 give her something to lay her eggs on and prepare to feed a lot of larvae.

5 Ask more questions on this forum after (!) you have read all the relevant stuff on Caudata Culture.

Anyone else?
