Help, can somebody help me .When I bought my axolotl I noticed he had bites in his tail and legs but now after 2 months I noticed a small white dense coat on the tip of his tail .
Is this a infection???
please advice.

Pics would help but it could very well be fungal? Hard to say without more information.

If it's fluffy like cotton wool I would suggest doing salt baths.

Found out wat it was thanks to a great site

It was a disease called colomaris ,that caused these grey patches on top of his tail.
Also I've tryed to post pictures but it didn't end well.
Anyway I've putted him in a bowl with sea salt for ten minutes each day (3days).

I want to thank you all for your replies and sorry for all fuzz I made about it.
