Hmmm...let's see here...exactly 2 cm long! They hatched a few days before that first pic was taken. They're sibling's of Icon's Tvs. Cheers

Sorry to have missed your question, Jesper. It's a Nikon COOLPIX2000 digital. Takes nice clear pics from as close as 4cm -- though there is no manual focus as far as I can tell. I don't if anybody's noticed a difference, but it's only recently that I've learned how to use photo enhancement software

The camera I'm getting in December is the powerful Canon EOS 10D, which is in another category altogether. Not that I'll have much of a clue how to use it the way it's meant to be used...

An interesting development with the 8 larvae that hatched, all of which are doing fine. The tails have broadened out and are developing some quite spectacular patterns:

There are a total of 7 in there. I had originally received 20 eggs by mail from overseas, but only 8 hatched, and I seem to have lost one larvae early on.
 
They're lookin' good and becoming considerably darker in color:
