Verrucosus pics

A few of you may remember the state of these verruocus when I received them back in October / November, they were so thin and undernourished that I had to force feed them for several weeks. Several months later they have now put on a lot of weight and built up nicely, and if all is well they will hopefully breed this year.

Do they show any signs of wanting to be aquatic, or are you keeping them terrestrial?

Funny you should ask, up till this morning they were kept terrestrial, I had noticed over the past week or 2 they have spent much more time in the water dish so this morning I changed them to a semi-aquatic enclosure.

That's an awesome repair job you've done there. Those animals are very lucky you got them. Lets hope they repay you with a successful breeding

Man, maybe you should go help Calista Flockhart now. lol. Seriously though, that has got to be the most malnourished I've ever seen a newt brought back to health. Congrats!
