Very sick axo, covered in fungus

My female axolotl was badly attacked by her male tank mate, shes missing 3 feet and has a chunk out of her tail. at first the legs were very red and raw but now they are covered in a cotton wool like fungus. done the fridge and salt treatments for 3 weeks now and theres still no improvement. i dont know what else i can do for her, the poor girls in such a bad state

You need to get her to a vet for a stronger anti-fungal treatment if the salt baths are not working. In the meantime put her in the fridge at 8-10C if you can, or at least keep as cool and you can manage.

Some of you might remember I had an axie with almost identical injuries and fungal infection and after a coupe weeks of twice daily salt baths I had no luck. I then tried a tea bath and all the fungus fell off within a day.

I don't know if this is the best advice but I thought I'd share and let others be the judge so Louis's poor axe and possibly recover.

They healed over quite well but mine succumbed to starvation before they could start regrowing, she didn't eat for over a month after the accident. I think a second opinion on the tea bath in this situation would be wise as I am still fairly new to axis. I know the tea is usually more for preventing fungus but in my situation I think the salt killed the fungus but the tea closed the skin allowing the fungus to just fall off, is your one eating?

no shes not really eating. i feel awful for her! ill need to look up the tea bath and give it a try, anything to help her
