No real violence here! Sometimes the Boreal Chorus Frog (Pseudacris maculata) talks back when the Spring Peeper (Pseudacris crucifer) calls. "Peeps" has his own little stage and likes to call from up high. Always a joy to hear them.
This is the P. maculata that talks back. He's become quite dark recently, but still has a beautiful red coloration.
