I recieve 4.2 adult warty newts about 2 months ago from Dave Nash. One of the females was gravid and I believe she still is. How do I get them to start breeding?

Have you got enough plants? Contradictory to many sources most species don't like fast water current, so if you have this they may be put off breeding. Give them tons of food as well - this may help with getting them to lay.

Yes I have tons of live plants. Maybe I should boost their feeding. Does photoperiod have anything to do with breeding?

I would try to simulate temperate photo periods - it can't hurt! Use a timer to get them regular, but I couldn't tell you the right photoperiod - let me know for my own paramesotritons!
