It´s been about 6 days, and there have been no changes while Mark had lovely roots and growth after just a week. Ah, well, patience! If it works, i´m looking forward to having this plant in my tanks

Great thread! I've been growing watercress in my organic garden for a while now but never imagined that it would grow in my tank, going to pop some in tomorrow morning!

I also tried the watercress and was very impressed with the results. It grew so well that I had to take it of out of the Alpines tank because I was afraid the newts would use it as a ladder and escape (no lid on that tank, just 4 inch rims/ledges)! It also has done well in the Daphnia tub.
