Well if you would care I have setup an account at Pbase and made a gallery carrying images of mole salamanders / rhyacotriton and even fire salamanders. I hope to further extend this. Please feel free to go and have a look (so I'll have some more clicks ...)

Very nice pics Henk.

I've heard you work with mole salamanders? I am currently trying to setup some projects with mole salamanders, was wondering if I could contact you for advice?

Thanks

Yes John, feel free to contact me at my email adress henk.wallays@skynet.be

The moles are indeed my preferate US based salamanders... and I have done nice things with longtoeds and opacum.
Currently I'm rearing CB maculatum (be it that I did not breed these myself, but a friend did out here).

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
