Weird axolotl

i found this picture on google a long time ago, the site said it was an axie but....well its red!is this a rare phenotype or am i stupid?
 
Seems to be an axolotl alright. The photo is slightly reddish anyhow. I think it's probably a leucistic axolotl that's just a little over-red (it's not an axolotl "type" in its own right).
 
By the way, it's not OK to take a photo from another website and repost it here, especially without giving credit to the original source.
 
I've removed the photo. Heather, if you know where it came from, you may post a link to the original site where it is located.
 
i have no idea where it came from, this was a long time ago thats why , i had saved it as my desk-top. its ok just wanted someone to tell me if it was an axie or not

It was an axie. When I see a photo like that, though, I wonder if someone has been playing with the color balance. With digital images it's so easy to change the color to anything you want.
 
Thats why I put all three of mine together, so people dont accuse me of playing with the color. (photos to follow later!)
 
Check out this blue guy. I was just playing around on photoshop and thought it would be cool to have a blue axy.

yea it would be great what about a rainbow one that had the colours of a rainbow that would be great
