I have a juvenile copper who I've been planning to sell. When I was checking him out, I noticed he had a weird red spot sticking out from his side. What could this be? Is there a way to help it? He doesn't seem stressed. He's currently being tubbed, I make sure his water is always clean, he eats earthworms and blackworms, I'm not sure what this could be. No one else has this going on. If you need any other information I'll provide, and if you need any more pictures I'll attempt to provide.

it doesn't look as bad in photo, but it's pretty noticeable in person.

He's getting a lot weaker, and he's floating on his side.

more pictures maybe? it sounds like a possible internal problem - may or may not have a relation to the external appearance

Sorry, I've been offline for a while. He's been doing better. Can't really see the spot anymore.
