Question: Weird stuff on Plants?

Does anyone know what this white stuff growing on the stem of the plant is? It sought of looks like a white worm but I have no idea? It is only on the plants with white spots on the leaves. Thanks.

Looks like roots on the plant. Have collected a sample and examined it?

Well what I have found out is its name is aluminium.
Water Temp: Tropical - 22-28°C
But there is this website: Aquarium Fish Paradise - Plant Profiles
So that might have something to do with it.

I believe that is the temperature recommended for the aluminum plant by the plant profiles.

No silly! The axolotl temperature is fine, but the plant is meant for tropical which is what is said!
