I saw these little guys attached to my tank yesterday. They look like the things you blow off dandelions.
Kiwi303 said they aren't harmful, but Im looking for an expert's opinion because I'm actually curious...
I have a fish in this tank, which will be replaced with an axie soon, and he doesn't seem to be bothered by them at all.

I think they are called hydra or something like that, completely harmless I believe....I might be totally wrong though.

It´s hard to tell but my guess would be Cyclops sp.

Hard to see them in that picture but they don't look like hydra. Hydra are very dangerous to baby fish and sal larvae. Hydra are related to jellyfish and sting their prey to disable it.So it is possible that hydra could hurt an Axolotl if there were enough of them in a tank.I know some people use a type of dog wormer to rid them from their fish tanks. The effect of this wormer on Axolotls is unknown to me. But like I said I don't think they look like hydra. So I don't think you have to worry but can you clean the glass of water drops and take a few more pictures. So we can get a better look. thanks

They kind of look like tiny limpets. To add to Bill's suggestion, we also have this and this to help ID tank critters.

erm....i'd say either codepods of some description or fresh water limpets. are they stuck to the glass or moving around freely?

I would say that is it limpets as well, I have them in my axie tank. They don't seem to do any harm.

They do look similiar to limpets. They're attached the glass and are multiplying in groups. I think I'll just wipe them off with a sponge. They could be hydra, they have a similiar appearance but aren't the same. I'm not worried about them, however.
Thank you for the suggestions and advice :] Positive rep all around!
