So, Ive had Axel for almost a year now and I am really worried for about him. His gills are almost gone and is really skinny, but his tank mates Drako and Malec are fat and having the time of there lives!
I got all of them ruffly the same time. I hand feed them bloodworms, shrimp, larvey and sometimes chicken. But it dosent matter Alex takes one bite and then spits it out. His really pale, well more so than what he as a lusistic should be. I've given him salt baths, fridge time and alone time. Nothing works. any ideas on what to do?

A trip to the vet is the best course of action. The vet may need a stool sample to check for parasites. I would expect the other axies to be infected too if there are parasites, but perhaps it isn't affecting their appetite as much?

I think a consultation with a vet would be beneficial as Laura said. You could try some other food items that are a little more nutritious? Have you tried earthworms?

Also I would stop salt baths. Salt baths are for treatment of fungus. The salt bath can be quite irritating to the skin and may be making things worse.
