Hey everyone,

So here are some pictures of mine and Ky4nn4 axolotls they are both from the same parents which are Ky4nn4`s axolotl Albino mom and leucistic dad. We are a bit curious if these axolotl are not wild type which we thought originally.

Our reason for not know what color morph they are anymore is because they appear to have a orange/gold body transparent tail with dark spots on them with a white belly and chin and bright orange gills.

What color morph are these?

Thank you liznewton85  We are proud of our axolotls but they are alot of work. What color would you call these little ones? BTW they are about 4 months old.

at the moment I'd guess just very pretty wild types.

Why do you have to be in canada!

They are very pretty! Almost silver-y coloured. Either very light coloured pretty wild types. or possibly silver dalmatian colour morph?

I'd say they will probably darken with age.

Possibly Enigma/Silver Dalmatian, but I'd simply label them as Wilds because there's no way of telling how their colour will change. Such beautiful little babies though!

The spots probably came from the leucy since leucys aren't techncally albinos, and the silver colour is likely some kind of iridescent albinism or essentially an extension of the iridophores...but I would love to see how these turn out!

Some of them look like heavily pigmented leucistics, some wild types. All cute though!

I agree. They look Like wildtypes to me.

Haha we were pretty sure they were wild type but just wanted to make sure but even though they are wilds i still think they look nicer than your typical wild axies you find for sale around here.

If any one in Canada is interested we have about 250 left and now my leucistic layed 944 egss last night and she is still going!!!

Same as my wildtype girl.... she has ended up greeny/goldish with speckles and an almost white underbelly

xxianxx its actually 1077 eggs now LOL! I counted them by hundreds as i took them off and tallied one tick on a piece of paper as i hit one hundred, looks like about 100-150 are infertile or damaged when i took them out because the inside of the egg is going white and not clear.

OMG your babies are beautiful!! And now you have all those other eggs... I wish you lived in the USA :)

They're lovely! If only I were ready right now for a fourth Axie, sigh. I still need to rehome the fish in my 25 gallon!

Haha sell them quick because we are selling fast!

If you want to get rid of your fish try seeing if your local pet stores will take them in or post a for sale ad on kijiji, i find when i post things on kijiji i get alot of replies.

If they are wildtypes their the cutest/coolest I've ever seen! I hope my new eggs get to be some interesting colors like your little ones. :)

Maybe they're coppers?

Hmm, they don't look copper-ish to me.
Coppers are way more brown:
