Where do most people on this forum obtain food for sals and newts?

Blackworms and Frozen Bloodworms I buy from local pet stores. The earthworms I use are wild caught and cultured. Depending on how well the culture does this winter, I might need to buy the worms online.

What are your local dealers? I have Petsmart, Pet-Supplies Plus, and Best In Pets.

I have a pretty good selection, I do have Petsmart and Pet-Supplies Plus but several places that are more of a local thing (Pet World, Fish Unlimited, etc). I would think Petsmart would sell frozen bloodworms, most places that sell fish should have a good selection of live and frozen worms. I would suggest looking for a small pet store that have just fish, the usually carry these and more. If not, most pet stores are fairly good with ordering stuff for you if needed.

I've found the Big Box Pets places usually have earthworms if you ask.

You are right, Petsmart does carry frozen worms, but I prefer to feed live if at all possible. Thank you for the fish specialist suggestion, that seems like the best option...Again, thank you!

While I'm not a fan of WalMart, I am a fan of the Canadian nightcrawlers they sell there.

Those folks at Walmart are the reason I can live on my pathetic salary, so while they aren't saints, I appreciate the upside. As for nightcrawlers, Academy sell them (and they might be cheaper, though I'm not sure).
