Question: What filter media do I use?

Hello I have a 55gal tank with two adult Axolotls and i use this Eheim Classic Canister Filter

Aquarium Filters: Eheim Classic Canister Series 2213, 2215, and 2217

I need to change the filter media but I have no idea what I am suppose to buy.

I have a couple of those filters as well.
I would recomend filling it completely with ceramic filter material, with one of the round Eheim sponges in the bottom. This works really well and does not require much maintenance.
Sure there is a load of fancy products out there claiming to be the filter material to end all filter materials, but good old filter ceramics gives you the same or better results.
