Hi

I've had two wildtype Axolotls for a couple of weeks, bought together and was told at time of purchase they were males. I then bought a leucistic and was told it was also a male.
The more i look at these the more i think they could be female though. they are about 17 cm in size so i'm not sure if they are too small to tell yet. I was told when purchasing the wild type they were adult.
Could anyone please help by looking at the pictures??

It looks like the Wildtypes are Males, and the Leucistic is a female. Once way you can double check this and know definitely (as pictures sometimes don't show everything properly) is if there is a bulge behind the back legs, as an example your picture #3 he definitely is a male, as he has that bulge behind the back legs. Females do not develop that bulge.

It looks the leucistic has a bulge from a side angle as well. It's so confusing lol

Yeah,it looks like he's starting to develop the bulge, so I would now say that you have all boys

I would tend to agree with Eternie, did the seller give you an approximate age for these axies?
