why is there a white ring around his eyes? Anyone know?

Not sure. My melanoid has similar rings, which is why I initially thought my black wild type was a melanoid too lol

That definately is a melanoid.

Sorry my phone is acting weird. It doesnt have the gold in its eyes like a wild type. It also wouldnt have the pink in his gills like a melanoid the gold ring IN the wild types eyes is different then the white ring around the melanoids eyes.

It's just a part of their eyes. Non-melanoids have shiny ones. Melanoids just have..... not so shiny ones.

It's due to a melanoid's lack of iridiphores.
