I am looking to get either a newt or salamander. I want one that is about 5-8 inchs, can live at a water depth of 4 inches of swimable water, likes a little over 3 gallons of swimable water, likes room temperature, is semiaquatic, eats frozen food or salamander & newt pellets, is easy to take care of, and it isn't poisonous or it has a very weak poison (so it couldn't harm house cats or dogs). Does anyone know of such a newt/salamander?

Dude, didn't you just post something JUST like this post named "Newt/Salamander Selection Help Please!"

Yea but I added stuff to it and asked a mod to delete the other one and I added the question category to it.

5-8 inches seems kinda big for that enclosure? But I could be wrong its just my opinion.

Its bigger than it looks. Its about 2/3 the length of my 20 gallon long and its wider that that tank. Would a JFBN like it? Its semiaquatic.
