It would be better to show the tail from the side also.I don't see any papillae,so it might be a female or a male that is not in season.
Have you ever seen white spots on the tail? In the US males usually have white spots on the tail this time of year as well as a swollen cloaca with visible papillae.

no i don't see any white spots on the tail. my other newt has red spots on the top of it's body?
