I was on google searching about tiger salamander larvae & this came up on the image search , i clicked on the site & they were talking about it on the site , not once have they mentioned anything about its little weight problem

i dont think there is hope for it in this condition

It's a strange camera angle, it might not be as fat as it appears. If it is abnormal, it could be obesity, bloat, or gravel ingestion, hard to say.
