Went to the local pet shop yesterday to buy some food for my dog, when I noticed something in the corner. They were selling Tylototriton shanjings which are illegal here. The bad part about it is this is a species I would love to keep. I don't want to buy a wc animal, but this could be my only chance to keep them. I think I am going to go back there and talk with the owner later today because they are not allowed here. Any suggestions?

Well, CB shanjing aren't available to krk because Hawaii doesn't allow the import of any animals. I see your dilemma, krk. You might want to contact local authorities and ask them if ownership of the animals would be illegal, or if only the import was illegal.
