What's this newt?

One of my local pet stores has these newts lately. They call the Hong Kong Newts for $7.99 ea. I'm thinking they're some kind of paddle tail newt, pachy, but not positive. They have them totally in water, so I hope they're OK like that.

not pachy but a paramesotriton, its hard from these shots and this bad monitor at work to tell which one it is -its not a caudopunctatus, and it really doesnt look like a hongkongensis from this photo - so that leaves 5 more species it could be. these guys are semi aggressive and about 80-90% aquatic (depending on which species-my hong kongs will come out of the water onto a bank, but my chinensis never do, but they are also real fat! so it might be hard for them to haul themselves out on land) check out the CC species section to see if you can get them ID' by matching with photos posted there.
