I was interested in purchasing some newts but I am afraid even with overnight delivery it would be too hot. I live in the north east and the rest of the week will be hot and humid in the nineties I am worried also about using usps overnight service I have used them before and overnight delivery turned into 2-3 days. What is the maximum safest temperature for shipping amphibians. Any advice or help would be appreciated.

The ship your reptile guidelines are mostly for reptiles. It is almost never appropriate to throw a heat pack in a salamander shipment. I normally don't ship much over 90F and use ice packs and a styro. I don't ship if day and nite time temps are much below freezing.
