I keep mine under my tank in my basement which is in the 60 degree mark but the pet store where i buy them from has them out front and its always ssooooooo hoootttt in the pet store.
All my brine shrimp eggs are stored in the refrigerator. I do bulk purchases from brineshrimpdirect. I purchase vacuum sealed cans and store them in the refrigerator, the cold maintains high yields. I buy sealed cans because the eggs stay viable longer and that way if one can does go stale I always have unopened cans as a backup supply. Once a container is opened I transfer the unused eggs to a glass jar with screw lid and add silica gel desiccant packs to the container to absorb any moisture and humidity. The sealed jars are also stored in the refrigerator and I write the date on the lid so I know how long they have been opened. The desiccant and cold keeps the eggs fresh for a much longer period. I go through a lot because I also breed dwarf seahorses and always have 3-4 cultures going at once.
