Illness/Sickness: White marks

Hello, my axolotl has some white markings on his body, mainly his head. He is active and eating / acting normal. They don't appear fluffy or stringy. Initially I thought maybe just bumps from when he runs into things in his tank. Ideas ?

I think it's just pigment...or lack of....my black girl has them and some fade as new ones appear!
