White spots on tail

Hello,

My wildtype axolotl developed some white spots on the right side of the tail and behind the hind rear leg.

Could this be fungus?

Looks like normal colouring to me. Fungus will look a little like cotton wool.

I don't think she's allright. Her gills look curled forwards a bit and yesterday she threw up her food from the past 2 days. Today I fed her a worm and about an hour later she threw it up again.

what should I do?

Back off on feeding a little. The color looks fine.

I used to feed them worms i dug up from the garden. But now i gave them some i bought from a fishing store that serve as bait. It are those worms that she threw up. Could it be that it is because of this kind of worm? The other 2 axolotls eat them without problems tough.

Maybe she has to get used to them. Keep trying. She'll end up eating them when she's hungry.

First i tought it was just her because she also threw up one of the worms i dug up myself. But today the other two also threw up one of the worms i bought. Are there certain species of worm that they can't eat?

I found out that these worms are red wrigglers and i read that some axolotls dont like them. I will try to keep them on bloodworms and tubifex for a while to see if they can keep those in.

I'm not sure but it looks as if the white spots on her tail are growing.
I have also included a picture of her gills, i think that they are curled forward too much.

I wouldn't recommend worms from a bait shop. It usually says on the packages "not fit for human or fish consumption" which I always thought was weird. You're better off getting them from a pet shop, especially if they are red wigglers which lots of axies don't like anyway (apparently they taste bitter)

Wow thanks for that. Mine looks exactly like that and I've been worried. My first axies arrived just two days ago.

The white spots are nothing to worry about. It's just normal coloration, like everyone else stated. I'm not sure if you have this brand where you live, but there's a brand of worms that I have called "DMF Bait Co." that is safe for axolotls to eat.
