So I have a 5 year old wildtype axolotl, and for the last couple years he's been developing large patches of white/lack of color all across his body, extremely similar to others I've seen posting about this phenomenon. Does anyone know why this happens? Is it true that this is a common/regular thing that happens to some wildtype axolotls?
