There are field reports of ADFs eating tadpoles and eggs.

I have had a few egg laying adventures-- There was one time the male was attached to the female (fertilize the eggs, since they do it egg by egg) and as soon as the disengaged, he was eating all the eggs up. "Having his Cake and eating it TOO" I guess
