I had a problem with a fungal infection with my axolotls a few months ago, and 2 of them are all healed and doing just fine now, but I did lose one of them unfortunately 
I think it was because I went on holiday and the person I left in charge of them closed the windows so it got too hot for them.
Anyway, the 2 that are all well now unfortunately lost their gills due to the fungus, and I was wondering if they would grow back as they're looking rather stumpy and bald!
It's been about a month or so and I haven't noticed any regrowth. Has anyone had any experience in this? Thanks!
