Worm capture

I was wondering how do you guys capture nightcrawlers after big rain storms, I went out one night to catch some but they shot into their holes when I touched them

I love this, I do this all the time then go fishing the next day, All you have to do is grab them and slowly pull them out of there hole. I like to go out an hour after the rain has stopped so that gives them time to come out, and if you miss some you can come back to the same spot and try later.
